Sunday at my Grandparents House

My Grandparents have a beautiful house that is an official historic site in my home town. I love going over there. As they are getting older it's harder for them to get their gardens planted. These pictures are nothing compared to what I saw growing up but it is still so beautiful. Also while we were there a Squirrel was in the tree and my dog Abbey was barking at it and the squirrel was chipping at the dog. It was hilarious, Shay got some good shots of the squirrel. I love my grandparents very much. They raised me as much as my parents did and I have a special relationship with them. Love you Gramma and Grampa!!!

4-Wheeling in Montana

On Saturday we went 4-wheeling. We ended up going 30 or so miles and it was absolutely gorgeous. I love it there. I guess I love getting dirty too... (not really)

SIGH, I know I never post anything on here. Well, I don't because I've got nothing to share, unless of course you want to read about my clients problems they bring to my chair or about the rude people that won't give Shay the time of day... We work a lot and see each other about 1 hour a day. That doesn't leave much room for something to occur that is worth spending my precious time on here.... HOWEVER! We did just have a holiday so here are some pictures. :) LOVE YA!
Shay is a fabulous horseshoe player... Try and beat him, I promise you won't.
Obviously here is us.

Here is a little update... My plants are growing very well and I added a little strawberry plant as well. We'll see how it goes. :) Other than that I've got nothing new to share. I've been sick for a month and FINALLY feeling better. I'm excited for summer and hope to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Hope everyone is well. XOXO

Shay's 29th Birthday and My First Gardening Experiment

One of my girlfriends at the salon decided to grow her vegetables from seeds this year and accidentally planted WAY too many, so she gave some to me. We'll see how it goes...

These are mini cucumbers, squash and zucchini. I'm worried about planting these cuz they are vine plants and I'm not sure I have the room for them. I'll think about it for a few more days... Maybe my father in law will want them for his garden. Probably not... :)

Here are the two containers I have so far. Since I don't have room to do a garden I'm doing Container Planting. A lot of people have success with it so I thought I'd give it a try.

These are the tomatoes. The one in the top left is Roma, and the bottom right are Pear.
This lonely guy is a jalapeno plant! Perfect for salsa!

I'm nervous. They are so small still and I hope I can give them a happy life! If they do grow and provide veggies I'll share with you all because I'm sure I'll have more than I can eat. Shay doesn't eat veggies so I'm on my own with this one!

It was Shay's birthday May 2 and he supposed to go golfing with his dad but it was pouring rain outside so he sadly cancelled those plans and we went bowling and to dinner with friends instead! Thanks again for coming guys!

Shay wanted a bike for his birthday so all our family member chipped in to help get it for him. Here he is with his new bike!

Sorry this one is sideways.

Then on Monday we went to dinner with his family at Texas Roadhouse. It was fun and the food was yummy too!

Here's the birthday boy! I love you lots babe! Hope you had a good day and next year you'll be able to golf, I promise! :)

Today was a good day. I finished all my chores, went on a 45 min. walk and now I'm making homemade pizza for dinner. :)

So I have this blog that I read often. It's NieNie's sister, CJane, I love both blogs of course! I anxiously await each entry they make and they both make me want to be a better person and find the happy parts of my life. CJane shared with us some of her goals and in it was a button. I clicked on it and was so happy to read the blog it led me to! It is another cute blog, Cardigan Empire and she is a fashion person and has this blog set up to help us be cute! :) Something I totally need help with. Anyhow, she has all these different body types and how to dress them. I'm so excited to try to dress more feminine and be able to know what to shop for that is flattering to my body. I think I might be two of them but I hate my stomach the most so I'm going love it by making it display cute clothes. THANKS CJane for sharing it and THANKS Cardigan Empire for helping me out!

4th File and the 4th Picture

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! How funny is this! One of my favorite stories. Shay and I were about to have our first Christmas together as a married couple. I had been skipping color orders and not putting money in savings so we could buy presents for our families. Well, one day I found out Shay had bought this Venom Statue, hand painted, (that's very important to him) and only $100.00 on Ebay! Oh man I was so mad. But the tipping point was about a week later when I discovered he had bought the companion statue, Spiderman for only $150.00! He didn't tell me because I'd been so mad about Venom. I said, "What were you going to tell me when it showed up on our doorstep!? That it was a present from someone!?" He said he was hoping he'd be able to come up with something that wouldn't make me mad before it got to our house. HAHA! Good one. Anyhow, so now I tease him about it all the time and we have two, 1 foot tall statues that are priceless to Shay and silly to me. =) He loves them though, and heaven knows there are things I love he thinks are silly (aka my blankie) and we love each other despite our other loves. =) YOUR TURN!
